The Dickens Centre

I was lucky enough to work on the Dickens Centre in the
Chatham Dockyard in the summer of 2007. It was brilliant, like lego for grown ups! a bit sad when my work was done.
I've uploaded some Photo's to give you an idea of the work
that went into it and maybe encourage you to see and
experience it for yourselves first hand.
.
The houses were mainly plaster over plywood,
over wooden or steel frames the detail of the
plaster work is exemplary!
Long winding corridors will lead you to a host of amazing locations. Cinema, boat ride, haunted house to name but a few. Its got to be worth a day out?
All in all it was a cool place to work, I met some very talented artist's and learnt a lot.
(although i never did find out where the penguin came from.)
